By removing the overhead cabinets over the counter we were able to make this kitchen feel light and airy. New synthetic stone counters replaced the dated tile and was extended to create an eating counter. New wood floors were added to replace the tile floors that matched the counters. This change allows the kitchen to feel like it's part of the rest of the house. The cabinets were painted to continue the color from the dining area, and recessed lighting and new appliances add the final touch.
