Creating spaces people love coming home to every day.

TIBURON WATERFRONT REMODEL

The remodel of this waterfront home meant taking it out of the 1950's and bringing it into the 21st century. This was accomplished with a new lighting plan, removing dated mouldings, and adding updated technologies.

Note the painting over the fireplace: it conceals a flat screen TV.

The warm color of far wall of this open plan living / dining room draws people into the space and makes it more inviting.

The updated kitchen includes a pair of glass counters; one for serving and the other for the grandchildren to sit and have lunch.

Opposite the lower counter is another area that includes a desk, a second microwave, and an area for serving guests with a wine refrigerator below the counter.

Granite slabs replicate the profile of the mountains that can be seen across the bay. The mirror reflects the stone on the opposite wall, adding to the illusion of a mountain range.

A double sided shower makes this truly a "His & Hers" bathroom.

The guest bath conveys the Japanese bath house concept. River rock was used on the floor to make it feel that much more natural.

The window is an etched glass designed with herons walking through a bamboo marsh. The glass allows light to come in and simultaneously maintains privacy.

When standing on the deck overlooking the city it feels like you're standing on the deck of a ship, watching the world go by.

CLIENT ENDORSEMENT

"My wife and I worked with Beryn Hammil to both design the remodel and decorate our home. Beryn worked closely with our contractor to make sure the end result was beautiful. She always listened carefully to our ideas and kept in touch with the various vendors she used to make sure purchased items were corrrect and arrived as scheduled. We were extremely proud to have her as our designer and highly recommend her to others."
